VenuesLive appointed Operator of Western Sydney Stadium
The NSW Government has confirmed the appointment of VenuesLive as Operator of the new Western Sydney Stadium.
The 30,000 seat Western Sydney Stadium at Parramatta is due to open in the second quarter of 2019.
The appointment of VenuesLive the experienced operator of Sydney’s ANZ Stadium and Optus Stadium in Perth is a significant milestone on the journey to deliver a world-class venue in the heart of Western Sydney. Western Sydney Stadium will provide the fastest growing region in Australia with a new venue in which to host elite sport and entertainment events.
VenuesLive Chief Executive Officer, Mr Daryl Kerry, said: “VenuesLive is delighted to be part nering with the NSW Government to operate Western Sydney Stadium, which will set new standards in live sport and entertainment when it opens in 2019.
“Western Sydney Stadium will offer arguably the best viewing experience of any purpose. Built rectangular s tadium in the Southern Hemisphere when it comes to watching live sport and entertainment, but it will also provide Western Sydney with an exciting new home for a multitude of meetings and special events.

Mr Kerry said VenuesLive would work closely with foundation tenants the Parramatta Eels and Western Sydney Wanderers, and other sporting clubs and entertainment promoters, to create an unrivalled spectator experience at Western Sydney Stadium.
Western Sydney Stadium is being delivered by Infrastructure NSW in close partnership with Venues NSW, the owner and promoter of a portfolio of publicly – owned sports and entertainment venues in NSW .
Western Sydney Stadium will provide undercover seating for 30,000 people and bring fans closer to the action than any other Stadium in Australia. It will feature significantly steeper grandstands with amazing sight lines from every seat.
