The Rocketman is ready for lift off at Bankwest Stadium! Sir Elton John and all the glamour and sentimentality you’d expect from his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour is heading to Western Sydney this weekend.

With Ultra Music Festival on next door in Parramatta Park more than 40,000 people will flock to Parramatta for the two concerts, so to help get you ready for a busy day we’ve put together everything you need to know.

 

Key Timings                                                       

• 5:00pm: Gates Open (please note: gates open time has been adjusted to 5pm and may differ from times printed on some tickets)
• 5:45pm: Tate Sheridan
• 7:30pm: Elton John (Elton will be on stage 7:30pm sharp, so make sure you arrive early!)

 

Getting to the Stadium

It’s going to be a busy day in Parramatta on Saturday with Elton John and Ultra Music Festival on at the same time.

The best way to get to and from Bankwest Stadium is via public transport. Tickets to Elton John include travel to and from Parramatta on ALL forms of public transport.

Parramatta Transport Interchange is a short walk from Bankwest Stadium and additional late night transport services will run to help you get home from the event.

Parking is available around Parramatta City. Click here for parking station info and map. Please note: there is no public parking available at Bankwest Stadium.

 

Accessible Shuttle

An accessible shuttle bus service will operate between Parramatta Interchange and the Stadium for patrons with accessibility or mobility needs. Services pick up from Argyle St at Parramatta Westfield and drop off on O’Connell St at Parramatta Leagues Club near the stadium. Return services also run after the event.

 

Tickets

A very limited number of tickets are available via Ticketek, don’t wait, get yours here.

Remember Ticketek is the ONLY authorised ticketing agent for this event. To ensure you don’t end up with invalid tickets, DO NOT buy them through any unauthorised re-sellers such as Viagogo, Ticketmaster Resale, Tickets, eBay, Gumtree, Tickets Australia, Ticket Merchant, Ticket Blaster, Ticket Bis, Queenoftickets, etc.

Bankwest Stadium has no obligation to honour tickets bought from any agent other than Ticketek.

Arena Access

Fans sitting on the arena floor should note their best point of access on the day.

• If you are entering through Gate A: Access to your floor seats will be via Aisles 111 & 112.
• If you are entering through Gate C1: Access to your floor seats will be via Aisles 122 & 123.
• If you are entering through Gate C2: Access to your floor seats will be via Aisles 124 & 125.
• If you are entering through Gate G: Access to your floor seats will be via Aisles 144, 145 146.

 

Merchandise

Official Tour Merchandise will be available both internal and external to the venue on show day.

 

Security

Fans are encouraged to arrive early on the day and leave additional time for the Security screening process at Bankwest Stadium.

Only small bags will be permitted entry to the venue and should be no larger than 30x40cm. No backpacks will be permitted into the venue.

 

Weather

The Bureau is forecasting some rain for Sydney this week with the chance of a shower on Saturday. The show will play rain or shine. The only exception would be severe weather which could impact the safety of artists and patrons.

 

What to Bring

• Concert tickets. Hold-on to your ticket if you are catching public transport home;
• Jacket or poncho – umbrellas are not permitted.

 

First Aid

Medical crews will be present inside the Stadium to attend to any problems, no matter how big or small. Please see Stadium staff for assistance.
