The cheers, jeers and atmosphere are coming back to Bankwest Stadium this weekend with more than 7000 fans on their way for three separate NRL fixtures.
The easing of COVID-19 restrictions by the NSW Government means a reduced-capacity crowd will be permitted at the Stadium, beginning on Friday night when the Parramatta Eels host the North Queensland Cowboys.
On Saturday Bankwest Stadium will see the Wests Tigers host the Penrith Panthers at 7:35pm then on Sunday the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs at 6:30pm.
If intending to attend an event at Bankwest Stadium this weekend, fans are being asked to observe the following guidelines:
- Stay home if you are feeling unwell;
- Remain physically distanced at the Stadium;
- Practice good hygiene;
- Stay in your ticketed row and remain seated unless buying food or beverage or using the bathroom;
- Follow staff directives;
- Download the COVIDSafe App.
- Fans who have been to a Victorian hotspot or who have come from a Victorian hotspot in the past 14 days cannot attend.
To assist in making the Stadium as safe and accessible as possible, the following initiatives will be put in place for upcoming events:
- Mobile Ticketing for general entry with contactless entry via Apple Wallet;
- Cashless retail operation;
- High-touch cleaning of all areas;
- Additional hand sanitizing stations.
Bankwest Stadium will implement contactless entry with Apple Wallet across the venue as the preferred mode of ticket delivery. Contactless entry with Apple Wallet will streamline the entry process for fans and limit the use of high-contact areas, making the fans experience as safe as possible. Fans are reminded to bring their debit/credit cards to the venue as Bankwest Stadium will not be accepting cash at retail outlets.
With fans coming back to the venue, Bankwest Stadium has also re-opened bookings for business, community and cultural events as operations return to normal. Almost 30,000 people attended the Stadium for events off the pitch in its first year of operation.

Travelling to Bankwest Stadium
Transport for NSW is encouraging fans travelling to the stadium to plan ahead and allow extra travel time. There is plenty of parking available in Parramatta CBD within walking distance of the stadium, and fans are encouraged to plan to arrive early as parking is expected to be in high demand.
Public transport services are continuing to operate at a reduced capacity to maintain physical distancing across the network. Fans are encouraged to allow plenty of additional travel time and plan ahead by checking real-time capacity indicators where available. Fans may need to wait for the next service with available physical distancing capacity.
Fans are also strongly encouraged to walk between Parramatta Interchange and Bankwest Stadium to minimise wait times for public transport services.
Additional measures will be in place to safely manage crowds as they leave Bankwest Stadium but people are reminded to be patient and practise physical distancing while staff work hard to get you home safely.
