It’s one of the biggest days on the NSW Rugby League calendar… a trifecta of Grand Finals to be played at CommBank Stadium this Sunday 25 September.
It all kicks off with the state’s best amateur clubs battling it out for the President’s Cup.
The unique semi-professional Rugby League competition involves metropolitan and regional teams and is played over nine rounds.
The Clubs represented include North Sydney Bears, Dubbo CYMS, Thirroul Butchers, Wests Illawarra, Western Rams, Hills Bulls, Wentworthville Magpie, Maitland Pickers and Glebe-Burwood Wolves.
In the afternoon, the under 21’s will play their biggest game (Jersey Flegg Cup) ahead of the showpiece event, the Knock on Effect NSW Cup (men’s open age competition).
The NSW Cup champions will take on the winner of the Hostplus Cup in the curtain raiser at Accor Stadium, ahead of the NRL Telstra Premiership on Sunday 2 October.
As a bonus, ticket holders to Saturday night’s NRL Preliminary Final between Penrith Panthers and South Sydney at Accor Stadium can attend all three games for free. All fans need to do is retain their ticket and scan it at the gate at CommBank Stadium.
