It’s almost time for the biggest party in Sydney this weekend with the Aussie 7s set to crash into Bankwest Stadium on Saturday and Sunday.
Men and women representing 18 nations will compete across two days at the Stadium in an attempt to be crowned 2020 Sydney 7s champions.
To help you enjoy a massive weekend of sport we’ve put together all the info you need below.
Key Timings
Saturday:
- 9:00am – Gates Open
- 9:30am – Games commence
- 12-noon – Festival area opens
Sunday:
- 8:15am – Gates Open
- 8:45am – Games commence
- 12-noon – Festival area opens
- 2:08pm – Finals commence
Getting to the Stadium
All tickets to the Sydney 7s include travel to and from Parramatta on Sydney Trains and Sydney Metro services. Parramatta Transport Interchange is a short walk from Bankwest Stadium.

Festival and Party Area
The Sydney 7s Festival Area is located in Bankwest Stadium’s northern carpark and will feature a stage with a host of musical acts, food and beverage outlets plus a bunch of family and party activations.
Aussie DJ L D R U will headline the musical performances with George “Fiji” Veikoso, Tigerlily and Yolanda Be Cool also performing on the festival stage.

Weather
It’s going to be a hot one in Sydney this weekend and fans coming to the Sydney 7s on are reminded to stay hydrated and slip, slop, slap!
All bar outlets at Bankwest Stadium provide free drinking water for fans at the event.
Security
Fans are encouraged to arrive early on the day and leave additional time for the Security screening process at Bankwest Stadium.
Only small bags will be permitted entry to the venue and should be no larger than 30x40cm.
